Bobby rockin'. RDRAGE in mud. RDRAGE's Grassy shock and Mudcycle. Misty mountain hop. Slot, not hole? Gordon and FJ Less Fillings, More Beer. Nice dental work, Al! Aprilia rider on right is Grozzy who opted to be with his girlfriend (now fiancee), rather than ride with us on the CA ride. Grozzy needs a priority readjustment? Peace AND Free Lunch! Headwater. Wet Camera lens in Yosemite. Big Sur Reindog. |

Some dudes always have to take the easy way out.

Ooopps. Like the call I got a while back. Fellow Badwebster had made good deal on a "low mileage, slight used, <500 mile "factory bike". He was wanting to know how easy to take it on the break in. . . I did some snooping. Anyone recall the bike Scott Miller toasted the rear skin off of at Homecoming a couple years ago? That was the "slighty" used bike. I told him the slow miles he'd spent doing his "break in" were likely unecessary GREAT PICTURES Reindog ! |

Jeez, it's getting so you can't even get drunk and pass out around a campfire without fear of being shown to the world in your stupefied state...That shot was at Hungry Valley OHV the weekend before the ride started. Grozzy went on the Colorado ride last year (on the Aprilia that we wrapped the rear tire in gaffers tape to cross the desert on). We tried to get him to go on the CA ride but I guess proposing was more important...priorities indeed. That misty shot is Lions TRAIL in Ferris's neck of the woods. A few minutes later the road was dry as a bone. Sure beat riding Angeles Crest in the snow that day like others did... No doubt about it, FJ is in more Cali ride pics than anyone else. |

Ahhhh....I need to take another week off to hit the parts of Cali we missed...and then another for the rest. Screw it, we'd need at least a month! I'm serious; if Buell does not put on a Cali ride next year, I will organize something. Early plans are already underway at SacBORG... |

Hey! I got an idea if you like steak dinners. The first weekend in October is (perhaps the last?) Songdog Fall Rally. $60 gets you all you can eat tri-tip, chicken, beer, wine, soft drinks, etc. plus live music all evening and perhaps a stunt flyer. Bring yer sleeping bag. Songdog is on Ballinger Cyn Rd on Hwy 33, 3 miles from the southern intersection of Hwy 166 & 33. Jim Reveley is retiring soon, he says, so the future of the motorcycle campground is uncertain at this time. Jen & I are going. Tell ya what. The drinks are on me. Waddya think? Sparky |
