Jim, the Rush CD (which was the one in the case) was the only one to survive. the "mixed" CD made it to song three ("Heat of the Moment"?) before making the most gut wrenching screeching and skipping noises. sorry! |

So are you painting the whole bike then Jerry? Or did I have brain fade when I thought you said that the original black was really a dark blue? In any case it's looking really good! |

"no, haven't noticed. what have i missed?" Well, on the doorframe with the little pencil marks on it...the mark labeled "Char" is less than five feet above the floor. |

UBear, so far i've only attacked the yellow, and turned it to basic black, which matches the original "black" on the bike (which is, as you remember correctly, really a VERY dark blue) close enough that i think i can live with it. sure changes the character of the bike. i HATED the yellow color, even tho it was very nicely done from the factory, including (if the light hit it just right) some very subtle, fine metalflake. Dino, Char may be small in stature, but i think she'd handily kick yer arse for referring to her as "the little one", either in public OR in private. i haven't roamed BADWEB much recently, and as such suspect i may have missed a post from you somewhere that holds a significant clue. (or two?) so, like, wuttup???

Jerry, did you get a piece of that nasty storm that they activated the Emergency Broadcast System over? Sounded like it was real close to you. |

yep, just as we were contemplating pulling the bikes outta the garage to run into town. it blew in with a vengeance, sideways winds, rain, hail, black skies, and a temporary power burp. was pretty cool, actually, and the bikes stayed ensconced in the garage. |

while Dino was busy yesterday throwing his hapless sister into an icy mountain stream in Yosemite, me 'n Unibear decided to head up the OTHER side of the Sierras and see what was happening at Mammoth Lakes. (Message edited by jerry_haughton on February 28, 2005) |

this is looking right down the centerline. we certainly could have soldiered on, but the ice was, well, icy, and we ultimately decided that the boulders were bolder than we were. (Message edited by jerry_haughton on February 28, 2005) |

while Glenn poses for a photo on the outskirts of Mammoth Lakes he keeps a vigilent eye on the trees above, as we had already been dive-bombed by several aerial avalanches. (Message edited by jerry_haughton on February 28, 2005) |
