I've got a Buell "adventurer", and a Buell "touring" jacket. The Adventurer has tempurfoam armor, while the touring jacket has some "CE" armor. I *THINK* the adventurer is made by firstgear, but I'm not sure. But I would like to replace the tempurfoam armor in it to something more crash worthy. |

It was made by Joe Rocket. At least they had an exact replica except the "belt" said Joe Rocket instead of Buell. |

Huh... I've never seen a Joe Rocket jacket like the adventurer, and I've never seen 'em use the tempurfoam armor. But I could certainly be wrong I *REALLY* like the jacket. 12 pockets in it The only thing I don't like is the armor. The "touring" jacket has MUCH better armor. And looks like it's made by someone else. |

Does Joe Rocket make their own stuff? |

To answer my own question, I found this on www.joerocket.com: Joe Rocket Sports Gear is designed in Tecumseh, Ontario, Canada by Outer Space Sports. which implies they contract out the manufacturing, but that their stuff is unique. |

A lot of the times armor will fit from one jacket to the next. My Teknic jacket armor will fit into my Hein Gericke, and that seems to be the same as a friends Joe Rocket. |
