I was out looking at an XB12 today and I noticed Harley has a mesh jacket with armor. I loved the way the jacket fit but I am trying to figure out who really makes the jacket(Since I am buying a buell in the near future. I did not really want a jacket that said Harley.) I believe the Harley jacket to be the same as the Teknic supervent jacket, but thought somebody with a bit more knowledge on this board would be able to verify this thought or point me in the right direction. |

The Buell mesh jacket is made by Vanson. Don't know if they make the HD one too. |

The Harley jacket has the same knit mesh as the Joe Rocket Phoenix. The people at the Harley shop showed me one of those tuesday. Too much leather and not enough mesh. It also costs over twice as much. It's not a patch on my Phoenix. Plus it as "Harley" writ on it. Bob |

yeah, we got some of those in the other day. The Motorclothes mgr asked if I thought they would sell better in the Buell section. I looked at her confused and said.........no.........and told her that they were priced about 100 bucks over what someone could buy a competative product. Oh well. They are nice though. |
