I got up this morning like any other and as soon as I got out of the shower, I got online to check the local weather. The forcast was for possibility of afternoon showers with highs in the low 40s. I figured what the heck, and bundled up for the 25 mile ride to work. It was not any colder than any other day I have rode to work lately. At 6am this time of year, you can't really see the sky to determine if it is really cloudy or not. So off to work I went. About two hours before I was to get off work, the temp dropped to around 34-35 and it started to SNOW!!! It was a snow and rain mix. I didn't really want to get my new leather jacket and gloves soaked in the ride home like I had previously done. I ended up parking the bike in the building and getting a ride home from a co-worker. I really need spring to show up so I don't have to worry about snow. Driving the old Ramcharger to work is NEVER as much fun as riding the Buell. |

I hear ya; man! Got 2" here, melting fast(that means everything will be frozen solid in the morning). Work issued van has to go with me to work, so no "playtime" on my commute. tank |

Weather was fair in Northern Michigan. We almost hit 40 degrees. It has been a very mild winter. I truly can't wait for Spring!!! |

High 40's here, actually took the bike out for a spin this week (full leather, lycra long johns and a fleece vest). Not too bad if I kept 'er below 70 mph. I got a few strange looks as I dodged the ice patches and putted down a totally iced-over side street w/ both feet on the ground like outriggers. Sigh. I miss summer too. Rob |

Going up into the mid-60s here today. As I look out the window to check out my X1 in the parking lot... |

I am leaving for Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, on Monday. I am driving down with my wife and a perfectly good stranger. It seems my 28 YO daughter believes in love at first sight and is going to marry a soldier next Friday before he ships off to Iraq in March. She only told me all this on Sunday. I figure it would be a good idea to meet the guy before he ships off seeing he is marrying my daughter. The upside....I've never been to Texas, and it sounds like the weather will be good for a road trip! Maybe there is a Buell dealer nearby and I can score a test ride. |

I've got a cheap Thor rain over-jacket. Sooo nice not to have wet leather for days after it gets wet. |

Weather out here is spring like. Lower seventies yesterday and the day before. I rode the X1 to work and really enjoyed it. By the way, what is this "snow" that some of you people speak of? |

Riding doesn't look to good here for the next few days, 14 below this morning on the way to work, got up to about 3 below during the day. Think I'll wait a few more days. Youall are sure spring is coming this year, right. |
