I'm trying to plan a family vacation to the Norfolk, DC, Virginia Beach area. I'd like to take my bike, since it is part of the family. Just woundering if there are any good riding roads around that area, or do I have to drive to the mountains to find the roads? |

Let me know if you find some. I live in Richmond and I have to be honest, I haven't really seen anything in any of my trips, but then I usually just take 64 and 95 everywhere. |

No mountains required here around the Williamsburg area. Plenty of scenic(read: curvy) roads around here and between here and Richmond. If you've got the time, there's plenty of sights to see round' the area also.(I live here, so my favorite attractions are the twisties) Drop me a P.M. and maybe we can go "sightseeing". OK, I'll field the one up North.. I got the DC area covered.. The best roads are west of the city and yes, if you wanna hit some mountain twists you can.. Now let's see.. How much time do you have? What route are you planning on taking? I know some serious roads, you may even wanna see a little of WVa.. Some greater roads there that the BRAG adventure really won't be close too.. Lemmie know when and what and how long and I'll draw up a series of roads for ya.. Later, |
