The Discovery Channel was working on a new show called “American Buell” starring Dave. I just happened to come across a transcript. DAVE: Here’s a key ring with our logo on it. CUSTOMER: Thanks! PRODUCER: Conflict! We need way more conflict! DIRECTOR: What if Dave says, “Key ring? How about my size 12 up your •••!”? PRODUCER: Sounds great! Let’s run with it! DIRECTOR: Size 12, Dave! Action! DAVE: Now let’s see. The only size 12 boot I have in stock is side-zipper. If you want lace-up I could order it and it would be in no later than Tuesday. PRODUCER: Cut! No! No! No! I can’t work like this! I’m canceling the whole project! DIRECTOR: Sorry, Dave. Looks like they’re canceling. DAVE: No problem. I didn’t even put the order in.
