I've seen where both these manufacturers off the full face flip up modular helmets. Anyone have any opinions on these helmets? |

I've got a Vega Summit XPV modular. I LOVE IT! Got it for $50 off ebay I wear glasses, and having the ability to put my helmet on without having to take my glasses off is nice. My wife and brother each have a Zeus 508 modular that they both got off ebay for $75 each. Not bad, a little less roomy in the front, and seems a little louder than my Vega. Dyna just got a Nolan modular for his wife, maybe he can comment on it also? Keep in mind, that no modular helmet meets Snell ratings yet. If that is important to you. |

Had a Nolan several years ago -- good value for the $$$, but noisey and funky, compared to a schuberth (no surprise, given the price differences) |

The wife has only worn it 1 time so far..we just got it, but she likes it. Much more comfy then her old helmet & believe it or not its actually lighter than her standard full face helmet. |

I have the HJC modular, great with glasses, whistles a bit more than I like, but the chin vents keep the visor clear pretty good when rolling. They also tickle my mustache, so I tend to open the clear visor & rub my nose at lights, lol. I'm shopping for a new modular, So I'll lurk here for reviews. I love the knight's visor concept. |
