Does anyone else use Microsoft Picture It!? I have already made calendars using this program, of course my Buell and my wife were in every pic. My point- Why not have a central location to store evryones', those interested, pictures, then let every Bad Webber scroll through and pick out the pic's they want, then make their own. I would say keep it rated "PG-13" but then again if you don't like the picture then don't use it! I have already seen some pictures here that will be in the next one that I print. Just a bug in your ears. |

Owners have egos. Concerned about what someone might think or feel if they dont make the cut? What if their bike doesnt make the cut? |

I would think that Bikes only with a list of modifications, unique features and perhaps performance figures like Dyno Charts or Trophy's would be nice. Just wouldn't want to be the person responsible for picking only 12 of all the submissions. Then, that would just make the 2006 calendar that much easier, eh? |

Dumb Question and last one I will ask this year... Has anyone considered linking the calendar project and sponsoring a Buell race team? Just may be a way of raising additional funds and give the BWB'ers something to show their pride of ownership and investment in the future of Buell racing. Additionally, it may become something that could be sold at the dealerships, races, etc., to generate even more support. |

Outie... I'm too lazy to find the post but look towards the beginning of the thread. It's in there somewhere, just not to your "level" (dealership sales). |

>>>Has anyone considered linking the calendar project and sponsoring a Buell race team? I think it's a killer idea. I think you could sell them for what $12? . . . what's the caledar of the Yorkies sell for in Barnes & Noble? I'd sell them through the dealers, the internet, e-Bay, whatever and clearly state the the proceeds will be used to helpd support GRASSROOTS BUELL RACING. I like this much better. It serves as a center of focus for us and, traditioanlly, when we have had such a project it tends to unearth the best we collectively have. Court |

Court...Not to mention it gives room for T-shirts and other merchandise (read: Collectibles). The Pride and Family Feeling it would instill in those contributing would be a real bond that would go well beyond the BWB. |

BS, some chicks can ride them, I can, however I can't be on a calendar !! Geez, I didn't think you were so easily offended. You consider yourself a "chick" CJ? I don't know what your definition of a "chick" is. In my book it isn't simply a synonym for "woman" or "girl", but maybe I'm wrong. Anyway, please accept my apologies. I didn't mean to offend you or any other woman in that respect. Sure women can ride. My cousin's wife (who could easily qualify for a "chick" if she wanted to) will whip my arse thru the curves. She is an awesome rider. I vote for a calender with bikes only. |

I just read Kandie's comment and decided to look up the word "chick". I guess I attached too much meaning to the word. Anyway, the example pictures posted is NOT what I'm waiting for. Pictures like 99buellx1 posted are just fine. |

I vote we let Dave Gess do whatever he wants, and then procure it and like it. Dave is free of course to delegate any number of month's/pages to any other of our highly talented moto-photo-naughts... where to begin... Tripper, JVV, FB, Smadd, whoever Dave sees fit to exploit in this all for fun venture. I hereby nominate Dave Gess as BadWeB calendar overlord. All in favor? By count of vocal response, the ayes have it. And you will all like whatever Dave Gess and his crew assemble. I know I will. See how I delegate this kind of stuff? Am I excretutive material or what! Proceeds to benefit? Important!!!... Naysayers are not welcome to post here. |

This is the month of May photo for our H-D/Buell of Bloomington in-house 2005 calendar. Drop me a note with your address and I will be happy to mail one out to you. The calendar isn't 100% Buell, but it does contain a couple of other Buell photos as well as H-D's and two custom bikes we built in the shop. Jeff |

I hereby nominate Dave Gess as BadWeB calendar overlord I could do it. I can assemble some possible photos, I mostly have older bikes so if we want much of East Troy bikes I will need submissions. I will also need a person to mock up the pages, to assemble the photos into pages the printer can use etc. I can do high quality scans in pretty much any format a printer would want. Volunteers send me an email with what you can do, what software you can use to calendar@davegess.com I will set up a team. One other thing, how many do we print? The answer will determine many things. I am thinking we might want to do the type of calendar that Kinkos and other places like that offer. YOu supply the photos and they drop them into a premade format. (Message edited by davegess on January 02, 2005) |
