It's sometimes amazing what hides on the web when main pages disappear: the next and back buttons still work. Enjoy. http://members.aol.com/pacbog/pix8.html |

wow Mike, how cool is that! makes me wonder what ELSE is floating around out there in the void. ONE of these days Corso is gonna help me get my website up and running, and all the old PACBOG and Sport Bike USA stuff will find a proper, permanent home. thanks again Mike, ain't accidental "search" hits great??? >>>>all the old PACBOG and Sport Bike USA I have'em all here. They are in cases, with all the correspondence about "Hey Mr. Canfield, I am thinking of starting a club". They are along side the Tat Marcy.."I've got an idea for a Buell parts business" and the Jay Hawley.."I used to do a Moto Guzzi Club and would like to start one for Buell owners", cases. Good stuff. I still celebrate the issue you went from stapled flyer to "bound". Court |

Must be a Karma thing as I was looking through some old stuff at work the other day and among the Battle2wins and first year Thunderpress were a couple of Sportbike USA.Also came across these.

I can remember doing a Buell search after getting the computer and finding PacBog. I read a little and I questioned the wisdom of hanging on the internet with Bueller's from the left coast. who knew??????????? (Message edited by clydeglide on December 24, 2004) |

guys, thanks for the neat memories - those were indeed cool days. sure wish i'd been prepared for how fast the PACBOG and Sportbike USA deal exploded - all the 'Pacific Northwest Buell Owners Group' was "supposed" to be was maybe (with a TON of luck) a dozen or so Buell owners getting together once in awhile for a little passion, adventure, and camaraderie. well, before the deal collapsed on itself, we had members in something like 42 states and six or seven different countries. i'm glad i did it (even tho my shyness and introvertedness are NOT the perfect ingredients for such an outgoing adventure), and i'm amped with the friendships that PACBOG brought about, not only personal friendships for me, but between many, many other riders around the country and the world. heck, two of the rides begun back in those halcyon days - SPLASH and the Border Raid - are still going strong, year after year, despite the fact that many of the particpants have moved on to other brands. as i said earlier in this thread, ONE of these days i'll start hanging pix and words from those days online for all to see - i've got a lot of cool stuff that needs to be on public display. as i also said, i could have done a MUCH better job of making a go of the thing, but even as badly as i managed it, PACBOG was an important part of the history of the Buell ownership experience, and i thank everyone who helped along the way.
