R_T, I like the way you think ; ) It has to start with the ultimate small block too -- 302 "The very oversquare one!" I'll have three in college after Christmas so I'll just keep dreaming until I can get some of them graduated.

Beat me to it. One Ford GT for me also, preferably in silver, but that white and blue looks pretty good.

Nothing too fancy...a street legal Ford GT-40 replica would suit me fine.

My Camaro will be nice(r)...once I spend another many untold thousands on it.

Mine depends on if we're talking new or old.

My new car: Bentley Continental GT. A car that combines the best of luxury with real world performance and handling.

552 HP
447 ft/lb torque
0-60 in 4.7
198 Top Speed

Not bad for a car that weighs over 5300 pounds!!!!

My favorite old car: 1969 Oldsmobile Cutlass Hurst 442 Convertible. The damn thing is so rare I couldn't even find a picture on the internet. I believe there were only about 2-4 produced.

Ingemar -

Those are the exact type of cars that I thought of when I first saw this post. I, however, prefer the Peugeot 206 of 2003.

My dream car that I've realized (drove it to high school). Mine is Diplomat Blue with AF/X Aluminum slots - originally sporting poverty caps - and has sat waaaaay too long!!! Gotta quit playing with these darn motorcycles...
Dream Car - Realized
1970 Buick GS Stage 1 'The Gentleman's musclecar'

This next one has to be my ultimate dream car... or maybe I'll build one someday down the road...
Munster's Koach
The Munster's Koach (remember 1313 Mockingbird Lane?)

As long as we are talking about cars, here's another I have a particular liking to:
Devil Ride
1958 Caddy Hearse
With cars, just like bikes, it is impossible to limit it to just one...

If $$$ were no object, I'd commission Ford to build me the original GT concept, the GT 90. Much sexier and muy macho under the hood!

Pa_xb9sx,

Yeah, though choice between the two. I wouldn't mind owning a Focus WRC either. It doesn't look as good as an Impreza or 206 though ...

Do you follow the championships?

Ingemar -

I followed the WRC in 2003, but haven't been into it much this year. I wish they'd have a race in the states. I guess most people here can't get into a timed race versus a race against other cars. It's funny, I went over to Ireland in the beginning of November. Everyone there drives those beautiful cars...European Ford Focus, Citroen, Peugeot. Then I turned on the TV and there was NASCAR. I couldn't believe it.

Peugeot 307

Above is a 2004 Peugeot 307. Why can't we sell cars in the states that look this good?

"Except SHOP!. . . wait till your wife gets a "shoe thing", goes shopping and returns with the trunk lid (on the wrong end of the car, incidentally) looking like it was hit by a hail, storm from inside.

Still, your are correct, 911 is the run away favorite!"

No offense to my wife (I love here dearly) but no way she gets to drive the 911. BTW-I am shopping for a 911 Turbo this week so I may have a whole new 415HP experience to chat about next week!

Bruce:

My bet is youi'll love it! One of my riding pals in Topeka, KS was a Porsche and MB collector.

I had great fun, vicarioulsy, through him wtih one of the first 930 Turbos, early 959 and the day they picked us up on a jet, flew us to Bonston, snagged us in a Bell Jet Ranger and took us to see his 300SL Gull Wing.

His $$, my fun....the way to live.

I'll be eager to hear about the 911. Through all the ups and downs and comings and goings...that is THE car.

This would be my preference if I only got one. Of course i would need to leave it at the track since I wouldn't have a tow vehicle. I run a cheaper version of these currently. Stock clip and some engine restrictions but still capable of averaging 90mph on a 3/8ths mile dirt track. These guys are at Red Cedar Speedway in Menomonee, WI
late model
For action it puts the cup guys to shame.

Yes I know Aston Martin are owned by Ford but the DB9 is British design & build, I have yet to see a more beautiful car.

That sideways rally car reminds me of how fun lightweight front wheel drive cars can be...especially on slippery surfaces.
