If it all gets too much, you can always come & visit here, where nobody really gives a toss who's president of where after a few bottles of cider & a good dinner. |

After reading back on this thread, I don't believe you folks have seen this one yet. I got it from a friend that picked it up on a "Spoof Alert" and have to admit that it is really funny, not to mention the hackers did a fantastic job of making it look so real. Enjoy!!! http://www.world-cnn.com/2004/WORLD/americas/11/30/bush.arrest/index.html |

Mars Cheese Castle...LMAO !!! That is one of NaziLand's (Wisconsin's) last chances to fleece a FIB (Illinois Person) on their way home from a weekend in CheeseLand. Perhaps also the reason why it is the most heavily patrolled segment of freeway in the State. Hard as nails to get through that corridor without a ticket or a chunk of cheese. |

Us cheeseheads need to get the FIB's money one way or another! We need it so we can buy more gear to catch Muskies! |

"no no, you were on point, it was YOUR job" "! everyone knows it's sweep's job" Abbott and Costello on Buells in Racine County -- pricelss (actually, painfully expensive!) |

Are you here to join in positive discussion with fellow Buell enthusiasts, or are you here to campaign your own personal agenda? Found that funny for some reason and even somewhat fitting R |

Bomber, I got busted yesterday in town for alledgedly speeding. I think the cop is full of it tho. Schools get out at 2:45, & when kids are out of the school its supposed to be a 15 mph zone. Anyways I went past 1 school along with 3 other cars..all of us doing 30-35 about 5 minutes before school got out. I drove another 10 blocks, had to wait for 2 stoplights when all of a sudden a local cop comes screaming down the road & locks em up behind me. Asks me the usual bs questions & I tell him no idea what the hell he is talking about. Claims I was doing 44 in a 15 zone. I told him I was doing 30 along with the traffic & schools not out yet. Needless to say its year end so the cops need to up the budget a bit & he wrote me up. $288!!!, screw that, I already talked to a local traffic attorney who is going to see what he can do about the trumped up charge. |

BTW, before any cops get all upset & think im bashing all cops, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact if im doing the deed & get busted..its "oh well" & I pay the fine. But to have a cop just straight up lie like that is bs. |

Oh I dont...it actually got a little bit nastier than that for a second or 2. Couple weeks ago the cops shot a 21 yr old in the head & killed him. Big mess with that whole deal, 1 cop claims he ran a stop sign yet another cop say no the kid stopped. Right in front of his house he is pulled over, tries to go inside the house, fight breaks out, mom & sis are 10' away watching it all. They say the cops had him handcuffed & the one cop claims the kid put his hand on another cops gun holster & another one just shot him. So anyways this cop asks me if he knows why he pulled me over & I obviously told him no. He starts with the lectures about school zones, etc. I tell him I wasnt speeding & there were no kids out as school was still in session. He in a rather stern voice looks & me & tells me 2 crossing guards were standing there...I respond back with "hey dont shoot me". That was the end of any conversation we had. I guess im off the cops christmas card list now. |

Hmmmmn.... Let's see now.... Dyna's all mad at the man for allegedly speeding in a school zone.... Wisconsin's cheese comes highly recommended.... And Blake and Bomber want to get together for a little bouncy bouncy.... Ahh, Badweb. Always on target, always on topic. What was President Bush doing in Canada, again? |

Pushing Star Wars. Does anyone think that is going to work? That the money couldn't be better spent trying to ensure bad stuff doesn't arrive on a freighter, rather than an ICBM? The best argument I've heard is that if the US is gonna build it anyway,we might as well let some of our defense contracors in on the riches. What a waste of a ton of money. |

"BTW, before any cops get all upset & think im bashing all cops, nothing could be further from the truth. In fact if im doing the deed & get busted..its "oh well" & I pay the fine" I am with you here. When you play, you pay! I hate guys who get caught straight up and then whine about it. |

With N. Korea and China seeking to engage in an arms race, I think that having a defensive missile interceptor system, which by the way is not "star wars", which was a space based system, is a very prudent and proactive idea. Stating that "it wouldn't have prevented 9/11" is a non-sequiter. The missile defense system is not meant to protect against terrorist attack. It is meant to defend against ballistic nuke attack. Might we invest in defending ourselves against both? If we can prevent being held hostage by the likes of Kim Jong Il, how is that a bad thing? |

he's gotta go. that doesn't change the fact that in terms of national defense, keeping commercial airlines free of terrorists IS a top-3 vector concern. i'm all for preventing kim jongian attacks, and would have applauded an invasion of N. korea being they both possess and manufacture wmd. we're on the same page when it comes to defending against both, just different paragraphs (Message edited by tramp on December 11, 2004) |
