hey wuts up everyone? hey everyone i got a question ive noticed on some buells people will use a str8 bar instead of a shock being there. but how the hell do u lower the front. i really wanna make my bike into a street drag bike. i already have it already planned out i wanna lower it stretch the rear end and also lower it. but i wanna get it pretty low to the ground. How can i do that? please give me photos and info about it. also i noticed on american sportbikes they have a swing arm extender thing but they dont say how much it is. but if someone could please let me know how to lower it please let me know thanx much/ | ||

Cruiser -- you can drop the forks in the trees, but I'd strongly advise you get some help -- you could easily wind up breaking things again, and that's no fun at all (con't ask me how I know) | ||

no no no im not gonna drag race it on the street lol. i wanna make it into a bike that looks like a streetdrag bike. lol. no but i really like the look and its not my daily rider anymore. so i just wanna lower it stretch it and also please find me some pix i cant find any anywere. | ||

BC20, On my Drag X1, i went to clip ons and dropped the forks in the triples. I actually mount my clip ons above the top triple clamp. Easy way to do it without changing fork internals. You can do the same with your M2's right-side up forks but you have to be aware of the stroke of the suspension and not lower it past the point of maximum compression. Also need to be aware that it could be possibly to bottom the bike before you bottom your suspension. You may have to run a pretty wide splay on the clip ons depending on what tank you are using. I also build extended swingarms (square tube style) up to 7" over. $450 plus exchange  | ||

hey wuts up racerx1 but how did u lower the rear end. see thats exactly wut i wanna do to my m2. also were can i get slip ons from. its like i noticed the front is pretty easy to lower and the rear i have no clue how you do it. but yeah man i love the look of that. do you have any other daytime pix of it or naw. | ||

im using the sting ray tank. the one that normally comes on a 2001 m2 cyclone. but yeah man i love the look of them even if there just lowerd and not even extended | ||

Curiser, If a Buell was meant to have a hard tail I am sure Erik would have created it that way. You replace the shock the way you suggest and its gonna handle like a piece of crap!!!Not to mention the ride quality is gone. I'd just ride and enjoy the bike for what it is. | ||
