A 1970s Mobylette,
note the fuel in the frame, the exhaust slung under the engine, the USD front end, & belt drive primary;


The Basic design is still in current use but much improved. There are liquid cooled versions with ported motors & reed valves, expansion chambers etc etc. You can make the things fly; 75-80mph out of 49cc!
