That's my favorite bumper sticker ever, period. Saw it in Illinois last April on a road trip and just about spewed pop all over my truck's dash.
They have a ton of them...that's just my favorite.

Silver Metallic ..I am ambivalent about color at the best of time ..I went for this purely for resale reasons..although it works well with the plastic panels...
I am parked beside a Scion at the moment and you could just about fit one of them inside an Element..they look very much like a Hot Wheels beside an E...
If you are thinking about changing your wheels , it might be worth buying it with the steel wheels and then getting some different alloys later, I have also seen some with a lowering kit, Eibach, on them ..if you had that and dark spoked wheels they all look pretty cool in any color

Bad..BTW you may remember the stickers which Gonen60 had made up in the 'bar and shield' format for his XB, I have one made up in silver on the Element ,it looks good on the back of the privacy glass ...unfortunately I don't have a soft file of it yet |

Reepicheep, I think that is a Hawk, but neither that Element or the bike are mine. I found the link at elementownersclub.com
My Element is Galapagos Green and is sitting at the bodyshop as I write because I fought a deer in it and the deer won...to the tune of $4400!
FYI: I smacked a deer straight on at 50mph and the airbags didn't deploy. I didn't get hurt and am physically glad that they didn't, but mentally I had to wonder why they didn't open. Looking around the web it's possible to see that the airbags NOT deploying in front end collisions with the Element isn't uncommon and Honda is looking into it........ |

Airbags typically don't deploy over a certain speed. I don't remember for sure, but I was thinking the speed was in the 30-40 mph range. |

Ummm, I think you have that completely backwards. Airbags don't go off UNDER a certain speed, but do indeed go off for ANYTHING over like 15MPH. The most likely reason for the airbag NOT going off is the lack off mass hitting the bumper. |

My wife hit a deer recently at 40 mph in her Touareg and the air bags didnt deploy either...the assessor said some bs about the sensor position ! |

Airbags. I went to a demolition derby this past summer. Late in the events when the cars were all smashed up a couple of airbags finally started going off. I guess the car owners forgot to either unplug them or forgot to remove them. Kind of funny to see an airbag deploy on a car that's already about 99% destroyed. |

Airbag goes off when the vehicle decelerates above a certain limit, so what Steve said about mass holds.
As for a vehicle you can get a motorcycle into just about any car.
It all depends how fast you're going & at what angle you hit!  |

I went and took a Element out for a ride today.I'll be buying at the end of the month.Its kinda the Burn't orange color.Its a 04 brand new but getting a steal of a deal on it.Not bad riding but it sure feels like the wind shield is about 5 feet infront of me while driving. |

BadS1, I know what you mean. The 'cockpit' is huge, just huge. People get in it for the first time and they're shocked at how much room you've got. I'm very happy with the Element and having some fun with it too. Did you check out the sites I sent you? Lot's of add-ons you can get -- the Buelligan thing to do right? |

Bads, Thats because the windshield is five feet in front of you and the place you'll notice that the most is when you roll up to a red light and have to bend over to the steering wheel to see the light.
Also tr not to make the mistake of closing the front door first and the back door second 'cause it won't work worth a damn, um, from what I hear, yeah from what I hear............. |

BadS1, Initially I wasn't happy about the doors either, but I've found they're quite functional and now I like them.
What are you guys thinking about the Honda recommended service schedule? Change oil every 10K miles and oil filter every other time. I wonder if they're that good? |

...and to top it all off they want you to use 0W-20 wt oil! Thats like freakin' water! I did my first oil and filter change (to synthetic as well) at 5K and will do the same at 10K. I'm just too set in my ways to even consider changing the filter at every 20K miles. I need the piece of mind that doing it in more traditional time frames allows me......... |

Roko, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one that's disregarding Honda's recommendations. Mobil 1 going in @5K w/filter and will continue that trend. Did that with my '97 Suburban for 200K miles, 1984 Saab 900T same thing and it was over 200K. It works for me and I have no good reason to change now. |

I am very interested in trading my '96 Jeep Grand Cherokee in on one of these " rolling toasters", mainly so I can get my XB9S into it. |

BadS1, Functional, very functional. Once you open up both doors, to their fullest, the vehicle is wide open and access to the rear seats, or cargo area if the seats are hung or removed, is so very easy. I've found that even larger people are quite comfortable in the rear seats and the 'stadium' style seating, which places the rear passengers a few inches above the driver/front passenger, make for a nice ride too. I guess ease of entrance to the rear is what I really like about the doors.
Now, tell me how were going to get the running boards chromed? The plastic/urethane end caps have me stumped. I really want my boards chromed -- viewing your old M2/S1 I'm counting on you to figure it out for me :-)

Bads, the best example of functuality (hmm, is functuality a word? It is now!) that I can attest to the suicide doors is it is a whole lot easier to get kids in car seats in and out as you can pretty much face them square to buckle them in and vice versa. The sliding doors on most modern mini vans are pretty good for this, but with the Element not having a post between the doors you can really get in there to strap lil' Dana or lil' Naughty in. |

Lil naughty is 9 and lil Dana is 12.They can belt there selves in.But now I need to learn to be a gentlemen and open doors to let them out.Which I never have been good at .LOL

Cool!!! But as far as wheels...go after market.You might pay a couple more bucks but the look's and quality of wheel will be second to none. |
