Another hurricane down here in NC. Floods have alreay caused debris and roads to be closed. Follow the weather channel for more details. I'm sick of this rain! See you all next week anyway. That is if I can find a road to get there on, or a boat! |

I was wondering what impact the remnants of Ivan would have (on top of the other hurricanes) on Running the Ridge...Thanks for the info. 1313 |

Anybody have any "official" word yet? I'm still scheduled to head down. Guess I'll see how the pilots work in the wet |

I stopped into Tilleys on monday (20th) thinking they would have alot of Buell stuff for the crowd coming in on wed. Noddy, you could put it all in 2 shoe boxes. The place has gone to (you know where) since Brian left. I bet they haven't restocked a single part, very sad........Later Charlie |

Ferris and I just rode the BRP and I-40. Several sections of I-40 were washed away near the boarder. That was after we had rolled through. When on the BRP there were already 3 sections closed for up to a year. Complete sections gone. Negotiating the closures meant considerable amounts of back tracking. We basically skipped everything from the Folk Art Center at Asheville up to Blowing Rock. The one closure we detoured for was fairly easy on great roads, the two we skipped would have added a bunch of unavailable time. Careful on the BRP. They ARE writing tickets for speeding! JB2 |

Great seeing all at Tilley's! Wish I were riding with you. Ride safe. Oh, anybody need an XB9s shop manuel? $35 takes it, I think there $60 new. |
