Dennis...a site hasnt even been picked out yet. Although I still vote for Colorado. Screw TN, any state that names a Highway for someone who ran over a rider & killed him doesnt deserve any of my vacation funds. |

The RV and trailer would be for a California run to the MotoGP races. If it's Colorado, I'll probably Iron Butt there (or try to) |

A: like a wet sheet of old copper, streaked green and brown. Actually, the Delta is a little way south of Nashville, but what the heck. I'll be there! rt |

That's an inaccurate statement. Dates, time, location, so long term planning and pleading can be worked out and plotted? Music City is doable, other venues going on can make or break the deal. (Must start filling the broken old guitar with spare change and free bills for travel funds.) (Call it a musical piggy bank.) |

Mike...is Cali in your future? Or maybe you'd be interested in renting? |

I'm going to Colorado next summer; whether there's a rally there or not. |

Crusty has the right idea. Dont need Brag to have a good time. We already proved that in the past. |

Not trying to hijack this thread but found this info on the website of one of the new sponsors. Rocky Mountain HD is celebrating their 25th Anniversary on Saturday, Sep 11th from 5-9pm. Anybody from the midwest feel like making a bonzai run out there? |

Ok, so where is everyone going and when? Colorado keeps coming up more than any other place. I just don't see too much on the when thing unless you factor in Fireman Jim's and DaveS's input. |

My first choice is Laguna Seca for the MotoGP races. That would be a 10 day trip planned to arrive 2-3 days before the races and leave 2-3 days after the races. In other words, arrive in Cali around July 6 or 7 and depart around July 12th. That's 2 travel days each direction and about 5 days in Cali. My second choice is Colorado. The 4th of July week would be preferrable for my schedule. Sometime in late June would be even better but the weather isn't as good (too much rain). That would probably be a 7 day trip for me. Includes 1 day of hard travel in each direction (it's about 18 hours to Denver). Leaving 5 days to explore all of the great roads. If I was to do a Colorado trip, I don't think I'd want to spend the whole time in one area. Meet in the Front Range (Denver area for those non-mountain people). Spend a day or two in that area. Spend a full day riding west. Spend another day on the western slope (Grand Junction, Durango, Telluride). Another full day riding back to Denver. Of course I'm talking a "dream" trip. But hey, we're only throwing out ideas right now. Oh yeah.....can't have this event w/o a BadWeb rafting trip!!! |

Anyone ever think about having a Buell rally in the Black Hills of SD? Of course NOT during Sturgis. The roads are great! Dave |

I need somewhere where I don't have to ride for 5-6 days to get there, especially on the S1!!! 4 Days on that thing is quite challenging enough!!! |

You haven't seen challenging until you have tried to stay awake on the Superslab from Minneapolis, MN to Rapid City, SD. I still have nightmares about that run. |

Actually, Newfie is in a pretty good position. He can take the scenic Canadian Route. If Sturgis were the destination, It may behoove a number of us to ride north and hook up with him along the way. |

Okay...next Nashville pre-qual question...on February 10, 1967 the longest and most famous E Major chord in the history of music ended "A Day in The Life". How many pianos did it take to accomplish this chord? What is the noise in the back ground as the end of the chord? Hehehehe...me neighbors, shown below, know the answer for sure!
