I got to attend the Sportbiketracktime.com track day at Road America on Tuesday 8/10. It was only 58-62 degrees but the action on the track kept me very warm! There were approximately 130-150 bikes there with what appeared to be 50% Ducati! There were only 4 Buellers there, 2 in Novice, Me in Intermediate and a full on race Buell in the advanced group, although I didn't catch his name I heard later that he is an engineer at Buell. This was my first entry into the intermediate ranks and was the first track day on the XB. I ran 30 psi in the stock 207's and they worked great all day. I learned that the XB handled much better for me with a full tank of gas and there is nothing that can compare to passing someone in the Carrousel turn! If you want to check me out, here's the link http://www.sliderphoto.com/stt/081004.asp I'm #3068. |
