Hello all!! I've loved the Buell's since I found out about them a couple of years ago. I currently ride a '76 Sportster and am looking to buy an XB12cg within the next year. I've searched around for any information regarding my local dealers, but was unable to find anything. I live in North Brunswick, New Jersey and my local dealers are H/D of Edison, Liberty H/D in Rahway, and Williams H/D in Lebanon. I went into the Edison Dealership a couple of weeks ago and took a test ride on a 9S and a 12R. Absolutely loved them!!!!! Basically, I was just wondering if anybody has any positive/negative comments about these dealers. I spoke to Pete in sales at H/D of Edison and he seemed to know what he was talking about and he mentioned that he has two Buell's of his own. Any information would be greatly appreciated. This is my first post to this board, but hope to be more active in the future. Thank you all for providing this great resource. |

I haven't had any experience with any of the dealers you listed, but if you want to cross the Delaware River, I can give you recommendations for a dealer in PA. |

I live in NYC and can share that Edison has a good reputation in the area. I pass the Rahway dealership driving to Colonia, but know nothing about them. |

I haven't been at Edison for a long while ... so it may have changed; but their Buell trained tech didn't impress me back in 2000. Dumped my fresh, synthetic oil for a recall shock change - said he thought it was a 2500 mile check-up ... with close to 13K on the clock?? I'd asked him to help me set up the shock (preload etc.) before I left - reply: the shocks come pretty well set up from the factory I also asked him to check belt tension, I thought it was a bit tight - he gets on the bike, reaches down Sportster style, and says he thought it was a bit loose (can you say smashed 5th gear bearings??). Like I said, this was years ago, but I haven't been back to check on the current condition of things. Henrik |

I'd like to make that trip just to lust at your S-3T. You do know you were lucky right?

Forget the S3, it's worth the trip just to check out my sexy legs! P.S. The S3 isn't half bad, either. |

My Dad and I bought our Buells at Edison. Pete and Seth are the real deal. They own Buells, and love to talk bikes. I would never hesitate to do business with them. |

Thank you all for the input. Psycho, I was pretty happy with Pete when I spoke to him, how are their techs and service after you purchased your bikes?? |

I have never had an issue. They have been very Buell-friendly and one time when something was screwed up they bent over backwards to fix it. Just my experience... |

Psycho; thanks for chiming in. If we're speaking of the same guy, it wasn't Pete working on my bike back then. Pete did some dyno tuning for me at another time though. Absolutely a good guy and knowing of things Buell. He was (may still be) building/wrenching their Buell race bike. Just not sure he was their Buell mech at the time. If Pete (the one I'm remembering) is their regular Buell tech these days, I'd have no problem dealing with them. Henrik |

J - I've had reasonably good service from Williams HD on Route 22 in Lebanon (Hunterdon County). |

thanks Jersey. I dealt with them when they were still in Bound Brook, but haven't had anything done there since they opened up in Lebanon. I appreciate the input. |
