Just replaced the left rear turn signal bulb on my '98 S3. It works... but flashes very rapidly. I used what I thought was an automotive equivelant... I think I was wrong. Can anyone tell me what bulbs would be equivelant for the turn signal and could be found down at the "corner auto parts store"? Thanks! Steve |

Well... I happened to find the bulb yesterday at a Buell dealer. They had only one in stock. AND... it was only a dollar! Surprise, surprise! It was definitely the bulb... it works correctly now... blinking at the right speed. I would have bought more had they had them in stock. But I still have no idea what bulb I would buy if I needed one and only a Wal Mart were in sight. I'm sure there is an equivelant. Anyone? I know it's 12V and 10 watt, single filament. The bulbs I found that *look* identical at the auto parts store don't list wattage. If this is a "stupid" dilema, then please excuse me (and just tell me what bulbs to buy!)... my electrical knowledge is virtually non-existant! Steve |
