If the S&S will work on the Harley ECM why wouldn't it work on the Buells?? It is supposed to not only work on the injection but also on the ignition advance as well so a step ahead of the techlusion & PC3... On the HD this fully replaces the Delphi ECM. Thoughts? |

Without going to the PowerCommander web site I can't say for sure; but the latest and greatest PCIIIr will compensate for timing in addition to adjustments for each individual cylinder... |

The injection systems on the Buell's are entirely different that what HD has sold. From 1995 to 2001 HD had a two runner intake manifold controlled by a Magnetti Marelli ECU. In 2002 they switched to a Delphi box and a single plate intake manifold. Buells use a ECU from VDO that operates with different inputs. S&S has a replacement ECU for 1995-2001 and 2002-2003 HD's. It is not compatible with Buells. The power commander is pretty much your only option. Jeff |
