Author Message   Whodom Posted on Saturday, June 26, 2004 - 07:58 pm:        After ~2 years of lusting after Buells, I finally got one yesterday. It's a project bike, a 2000 S3 with a salvage title I got cheap on eBay. Picked up in Alabama yesterday; brought it back ~400 miles to SC today. I've already got a shop manual on order from Dave, and I've repaired a couple of minor items. So far, it looks like I need a rear tire, handlebars, 3 turn signals, a clutch lever and cable, and a shifter kit. The front fairing mounts are bent up and the fairing has a couple of cracks. The rear bodywork has some minor cracks. On the other hand, it runs and rides (I did a couple of laps around the front yard this afternoon).
