Not really a Buell but still pretty cool. Qualifeid #2 with a 7.12 ET. http://www.nhra.com/2004/events/race10/reports/F_Collis.html NHRA on ESPN2 today at 3:00. Will be interesting to see how he fares. VRods are qualified 1 & 5. FTD |

It did pretty well, that is until it broke in the first round. But to qualify 2nd it's first time out is very good. It's as Buell as the V&H V-rods are Harley or anything else in NHRA pro-stock, car or bike, these days. Still it's cool. Go Collis, go S&S, go Buell, go Harley. It's made P/S bike interesting for the first time. BTW: Andrew Hines put the Screamin' Eagle V-Rod in the winner's circle for a 2nd time this year today and padded his points lead a little. |

These guys http://www.georgia-motorsports.com/star_racing/pre_race_comments_columbus04.htm are going to sell those "Buell" ProStock bikes in a turn key condition fro ~$70K. Field could have a more V-Twin look in the future. Though 3 non Suzukis this weekend is a good start. FTD |
