This is the stock bike, before I got the plats. http://www.westcoastelite.com/images/bike.jpg This is the recently modded picture. http://www.westcoastelite.com/images/modbike.jpg notice the powder coated tail section, fender eliminator, new blinkers, and pulled off the inner fender on the rear tire. Also put a racekit on it!

Wow!! that looks sweet. How much did it cost you to get that tail section powder coated? I have been thinking about doing the same thing. |

I didnt pay anything for a powder coating, A good friend was getting a bunch of stuff done and I threw that in the mix and bought him a case a beer! Gonna do the swingarm next, just trying to find the right deal on a used one. |

Fender elimation solutions are in Old School Buell. if you are interested in a solution to suit what you want, go to http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/47623/58511.html?1086939488 Like the way the black tail blends with the rest of the bike. I decieded to get the fender eliminator from www.americansportbike.com, it was expenisive, but very light and very strong. Installing it was easy too. |

Very stealth, I like! If it hadn't been for the deal I got on my XB. I'd be an X-1 owner! |

just a word of caution. that rear inner fender is there for a reason... your oil sack is right above the rear tire.. I did the same thing you did, powdercoated the tail and swingarm, and i was gonna ditch the inner fender too. but a wise bueller warned me of the "What if" factor w/ that oil sack, mixing w/ the rear tire at 80 MPH. just FYI, By the way, looks awesome.. |
