Some people think all cops for example are on power trips. Let me know some other examples of generalizing, which you truly think is true. and please limit it to all. If you think ALL doctors are quacks, post it. But if you think that, but somehow found just one doctor that knew his/her stuff that negates the ability to post. Thank you! |

Never said all Doctors are quacks, I said their training encourages their GOD perception. I did say ALL cops play for the same team, I stick by that, but I guess that could be wrong since some don't play for the team and only advance their own interests, absent the team. |

What about the cops that have committed thefts, etc? OR the three local cops I saw come through the this federal court district for distribution of narcotics? I would not consider them "playing for the same team" that I "play" for. Sorry. That "all" is rejected. NEXT!!! |

It is important that we realize everyone is relaying their individual experiences with LE or whoever. My federal colleague accused us of making sweeping generalizations about all cops, it's just not TRUE. People were telling what they know from their experience. I am in a uniquely advantageous position. For six months I have read every probable cause affidavit in Orange Co., Fl. I know what people are being arrested for here, it is a very oppressive situation. Maybe it's not how it is being done in St. Louis but it is what's going on here. |

Sorry... Over ruled! Non-responsive to the thread! Please limit your comments sir to the subject of the thread. What "all" is true? (editoral note. An error was corrected where the word threat was mistakenly type when the intended word was thread! A correction by inter-lineation was not possible, so this means was used.) edited by dasxb9s on May 27, 2004 |

All members of Badweb are, oh, not even that will work. I have had both good and bad as far as cops go. It's probably about 50/50 for me. Some have been cool(even if they wrote me up or not)some were real pricks. Kind of like most groups of people, there are going to be good and bad. I do think that some of our rights are being eroded in the name of "National security" Sorry, I didn't follow the thread instructions. I hope I'm not going to be arrested! Ride to the edge! Dave |

Was it just a subconscious slip when my federal colleague substituted the word "threat" for the word "thread"? |

Being human, I made a typing error. The intended word was thread. I never claimed I could type fast or spell. It was not a Freudian slip. I stand corrected! Thank you counselor!!! Dave... You are found in contempt of thread! You may not ride your bike for three days as punishment! Gentlemen... please... follow the local rules in the first posting! What "all" is true? |

Blake... That is a qualifying statement! Thank you!! Who's next! Dave... Did you see the loophole in your posted contempt of thread punishment? Look hard! Give up? You can't ride YOUR bike for three days. Doesn't say you can't ride. I am not a cruel bas***d! What "all" is true? |

The law is complex, and spending thousands of hours in court the past 19 years (almost every working day) I can't help but learn a bit. But by no means would I ever consider myself competent enough to even be a paralegal. I know enough to understand what is going on most of the time, but that is all! A borderline all true Dave... but I will allow the entry. I will reduce the punishment to one day, and it can be a rainy or nasty day. I am leaving you on the honor system Dave! :-) NEXT!

All generalizations are not accurate is inaccurate. (Sorry Stealth) WHY? ALL people's expectations are prejudiced by their experiences. |

Close but not totally true. Though expectations are prejudiced by experiences, there are people like me that make an effort to keep an open mind even though a pattern has formed from my experience. I guess that is why I find myself jilting at windmills hoping to help change things I find that are unfair or prejudiced. ...and can only to so if an open mind exists. Which includes the need for me to always keep mine open!!! Very close though Loki. I like the way you think! |
