Just fishing to see if anyone needs/wants/desires a stopover in Milwaukke Saturday a.m. on the way north. I can/will/should have basic necessities on hand, and will have some of the local bakery available if the response indicates enough people. I already have a can of funny juice set aside, and can have more available if it is desired. Just lookinf for feedback and maybe a head count.....looking forward to it all. |

I am still planning on stopping by your place. I will need the funny juice. According to one of your other posts, I should be there around eight. See you then. Dave |

I still don't know when we are leaving or where where are meeting up. I expect that we will be taking 83 Fon Du Lac and then 145 through Oshkosh to Appleton. If we take 83 then we will pass through Brookfield and that would be a good place to hook up. I'll talk to Jason and see what's up. I suspect that the decision will be made thursday or friday. JT |

When taking 85 you will meet up with 175. FYI, there is a small detour due to construction on a bridge. It will take you off 175 and not tell you how to get back on. Stay on the detour till you hit Hwy 49 then turn right. I think you can also take 28. I just drove it Wednesday. |

I'll probably be modifying my route northward due to helping take care of something Saturday early morning. Might cross paths with you all along the way. I'll be doing my meander route southward on the way home.

Right now it's about 3:34. Uh, you probably mean Saturday. If you're talking to T'Dad I think he was either gathering or departing his place in West Allis Greenfield around either 8 or 9 am. If you're talking to me I'll be leaving the Saukville or Fredonia area somewhere around then as well. edited by mikej on May 11, 2004 |

T_Dad, If you want to head up via I-43/hwy-57/hwy-32 let me know when you'll be passing through and how many in the group. We can either meet at the McDonalds there or you can come by where I'll be a few blocks away. There's a city wide rummage sale I'm helping someone at for a few hours that morning. |

Daves, Hey man, it's Erik here (really). I had a major setback this week (well, it'll be better in the long run) in that I had to have major surgery on my right shoulder Tues AM. Had a complete tear off of my upper rotator cuff tendon, plus a SLAP lesion repair and cartiledge and bone removal. I am really hurting from it, but I have talked my wife into driving me up there Saturday morning (Dr said to stay at home 10-14 days, but I figure it'll be OK), 'cause I owe ya! I also look forward to seeing Terry and the whole gang there. I won't be doing any autographs because my right arm is seriously non-functional. And no comments from those who've seen my signature..."Heck, sign it with your left hand, you can't read it anyhow" But hopefully we can hang out and talk, etc. |

In the immortal words of Wayne and Garth: "We're not worthy, We're not worthy!!!!" I would almost do anything to get there for Saturday but being a kagillion miles away even if I left now it would be a stretch. However, I do have to add your signature on my flyscreen is very readable and you wouldn't believe the comments I get on it. Thanks Again for making the 20th Trip one of the most memorable in my whole biking life. Heal well and take care soon. Erik, You are a trooper. I don't know what to say except, Thank you! See you Sat. Hope you're feeling better today. Besides, doctors always base their "stay at home" recommendations based on "normal" people. Ride to the edge! Dave daves@h-dappleton.com

...43/57/32 sounds very do-able...i'll take a vote on sat a.m. to see if its good for the group...e-mail me your phone #, so I can call you that morning for a hookup when we roll thru...normal my azz, if we were all 'normal' we'd all be safe in our little cages humming barry manilow tunes on the way to visit our in'laws....rally looking forward to the getaway on Sat, see you all there...and Erik, i'll just have to wait until next time to add the second signature to my ride, thanks for making a ride worth signing! |

Damn, I wish I could make it up there! Instead, I'll go to Manchester(NH) H-D/Buell for their gig. Eat some free food, demo a Thunderfart and get a free backpack, buy some parts and enjoy some of the best Buell roads in the country. The weather is supposed to be in the 80s, so it should be a wonderful day. |
