Dave...Just a suggestion. Why don't you request the surrounding BRAG Clubs to send an Email to their membership detailing the event and generating some additional participants. From experience, not everyone is active on the BWB and you are only reaching a small percentage of Bueller's in the area. |

Hey, that bike wash idea isn't so bad. I would go for it even if they didn't wear bikini's as long as it was a good wash job. Heck, I am going to be spending enough time there, might as well get something good out of it. Oh oh...There's the Rain Jinx! |

Dave, How far is it from Waterloo? Hours? Miles? Ralph has a track meet Friday night. We are going to leave early Saturday morning and try to make it by noon. |

"...I would go for it even if they didn't wear bikini's as long as it was a good wash job. Heck, I am going to be spending enough time there, might as well get something good out of it..." I figured that a naked bike wash was too much to ask for |

Boomer, according to Mapquest it's about 295 miles and 5-1/2 hours from Waterloo to Appleton, or in Buelltime that would be 450 miles and 4.75 hours. You'll be leaving at dawn to be there by noon. |

Mike, I made it last Monday in 4 hours 45 minutes but that was in the truck so figure about 5-6 hours on the bikes. There won't be any naked or bikini bike wash. Dave |

Hell its still cold in the middle of may. Might have to be a snowmobile suit bike wash. |

Whoops...When I said I wouldn't mind if they didn't wear bikini's, I did not mean "naked." I meant fully clothed as in jeans and sweatshirts, etc. I just thought it might be a good way to raise money for whatever endeavors Appleton HD/BMC is into (like MDA or whatever). |

I know 'dat Actually, Dave, you could get away with a naked bike wash, as in "naked bike" (the Buell style of bike) wash... It'd be sure to raise a ruccus and draw some attention to the brand. |

You can make that 6 spirits. I can't make it because I'll be on a plane headed for New York City. Going to be in New York May 15-22! |

MikeJ and Dave - Thanks for the mileage info. We were thinking it would take six hours. I'm plotting a detour around Madison on some roads I know. It will be a nice break from the "slab". Easy - Ralph (Gearhead) and I were thinking of getting breakfast in Dubuque. I'll let you know where we're going to stop. We should be in Dubuque about 7:30. Mike |
