Congratulations go out John Burdynski for dominating the Dragmaster's Hot Street catagory at this past weekend's AHDRA Lonestar Nationals in Dallas, TX. Burdynski not only ran the table for his first win of the young 2004 season, but did it in record fashion with a :10.248 run at 130.92 mph, setting both new national low ET and top speed records in the process. Burdynski is running NRHS Stage III XB cylinder heads, as well as an NRHS 88" kit. "I have been waiting for four years to get some respect and I think I'm finally getting it from other racers," Burdynski said in an e-mail to NRHS after the race. "I've always known I could ride, but without the right parts from NRHS I'd still be waiting. Running in the 20's is just the start, I'll be in the teens before you know it!" Look for Burdynski, as well as other NRHS supported racers Dan Norlin, and defending Hot Street Western Conference Champion Mike Friberg as the AHDRA tour heads to Bakersfield, CA the weekend of May 1-2, and then again in Atlanta, GA on May 28-30.
