My first post on a great forum. I swear, there few other venues that are as in-depth and knowledgeable concerning make specific motorcycles. I seriously want to thank all responsible, as I've been reading through for almost a week and gleaned some very valuable information. Well worth the price of admission. I recently traded an 09 KLR for an 08 Uly (nope...wasn't an even trade) and having logged over 1k miles in the last two weeks, couldn't be happier. Being new to Buell, I have scoured the net looking for potential problems and faults... Surprisingly, I've come up with little to nothing to worry about. I've ridden for 38 years, mostly dirt bikes, enduros and dual sports, but I'm at an age that it's tough to enjoy that type of riding anymore, hence the Ulysses. Went up a creek with it today, and while it's not a single track bike, even with a stretch of the imagination, it sure held it's own in a foot of water. Anyway, thanks very much again for a great forum. | ||

Even though we piss and moan on each other, there's a reason why guys, like me who sell their Buell, stay a part of this community. This simply is the best motorcycle forum I've seen. | ||

Welcome to BadWeB and the Buell owners family. If there is any way you can manage it you should try to get to homecoming next June/July. Buell riders are the best group in motorcycling and it's a great chance to meet them. | ||

Welcome, friend- I see youn's are a fellow Volunteer! Be sure to head out to see FT BSTRD in the Boro, or come out here to Mur-Vil and visit a spell. If possible, make plans for Buelltoberfest III in Suches GA- check the threads as the date approaches. And congrats on buying the Uly- wish I could scrape the change to get one... | ||
