Why must every thread turn to some kind of perverted discussion of how repressed men are... hey... y'all need to lighten up and go out dancing again... Who's repressed...??? All I did is invite you to move further south and say you were welcome in the KC Mob... a couple of new sane members might keep us out of trouble... you don't have spring fever... YOU HAVE CABIN FEVER!!! You both are welcome just the same... |

FMJ - I went for a quick ride after work this evening. Had to wear the mesh jacket to keep from overheating. Court - I was thinking of you when I returned and heard 'em on the news talking about the lines for de-icing at NY airports. |

At this time last year I had already put about 150 miles on the bike. This year? 0 miles. It hasn't even been out of the garage. Right now it's snowing. Supposed to pick up a couple of inches. |

I spent my night drinking Vanilla Vodka and Coke (saving the Guinness for tomorrow night, and de-stressing so I don't strangle my supervisor tomorrow) ... smoking a big cigar... watching two wheel tuesday on speed channel... and tinkering with my new Kenton bike lift in the bike shop... and staring at my XB because it is 40 degrees... and my feet are losing feeling due to early stages of diabetes and poor circulation due to that and my blood pressure meds. Going nuts waiting for warm days... and losing patience (see previous post) with everything and everybody!!! I want everyone on the badweb to go out and spray their hair spray... to make the hole in the ozone layer bigger to speed global warming!!! We CAN make a difference!!! A hole in the ozone layer and global warming can't be seen as all bad... it will increase the riding season for us in the mid-west and the northern states. |

Ok, to make up for all of our weather here in Phoenix, I invite anyone down here, you can sleep on the couch and I'll even loan you the S3T. But you have to buy your own gas (premium is $2.19 here). Does that make up for it enough???? |

I've got beautiful weather here, too. It's been great, high 80's, sunny, light breeze... Too bad it's freaking Iraq and not the US where I can actually ride! But hey, soon enough I'll be in Louisiana. Where it will be 95 degrees with 238% humidity. Woohoo!

LOL...I feel your pain, Sean. The weather here is absolutely GORGEOUS - high 60s and sunny. The roads are unbelievable. And I'm halfway around the world from my bikes! Ahh, well. Apparently there is several inches of snow there right now anyways. Fricking Michigan. Bryan |

Where are you? Must be somewhere around this latitude, since any farther north of here is relatively cold still... I would love some snow right now. I haven't seen snow in a few years, and having grown up in New England, I really miss the stuff! And hey, since I can't ride anyway, I might as well enjoy snow. Of course, then I'd want to ski... |

Hiroshima, Japan. One degree north of Baghdad, give or take, but being on the ocean and surrounded by mountains wreaks havoc with the weather. I really should get my international license and see if I can go take some of those beautiful Buells and Ducatis for a spin! edited by darthane on March 17, 2004 |

FMJ, I won't feel sorry for you one bit when California gets smushed up next to Anchorage and your freakin weather starts to resemble ours. Don, You might be sorry you made that offer, because I have a frequent flyer ticket that will get me from Rhinelander into Pheonix for ZERO bucks... How does April 1st through 4th work for you??? Bryan and Sean, I feel for you both... if I were in either of your situations I'd be a complete and total whiner... know we are with you in spirit... come home soon!!! Charlotte PS I did not go to Daytona and I lent someone most of my cash and WORK SUCKS!!! edited by Whatever on March 17, 2004 edited by Whatever on March 17, 2004 |

For the 9+ years I lived in SoCal I felt so many earthquakes I started to not even notice them as long as nothing was falling down. For the 5+ years I lived in NorCal up the hill from Sacramento I never felt one single earthquake. But there were several days where the roads were iced over, note I said "several days", not weeks, not months. I'd consider moving back if they changed a few of the laws negating my having to ask permission to bring my possessions with me, but as that's likely to never happen then neither will the move. Wisconsnowsin ain't so bad. The wintersnows give us time to rebuild and repair the bikes and such. And kind of like the blue skies in Seattle, we appreciate the summer weather all the more once it arrives. I wonder what the job prospects are like in western Colorado. Oh well, all's well that snow's well. Snow ya later. SnowJ. |

I heard there was such a large spill downtown last year they had to call in the FEMA hazmat specialists... what little sanity i had left is gone now |
