I have a laptop with Windows Vista. I somehow deleted my trash bin/ recycle bin from the desktop and I am trying to recover it so I can empty it out... any ideas on how to do this without restoring factory settings please post... Charlotte |

I'm interested in this as well if it's the same for XP... I deleted the desktop icons for My Computer, My Documents and My Netoworks. I was able to put shortcuts up, but they don't group at the beginning anymore. Edit - I figured it out, but didn't see to re-add the recycle bin... |

For Vista, just right-click anywhere on your desktop and select "Personalize". In upper left-hand of window, choose "Change Desktop Icons". In the Desktop Icon's Settings" window, check the box for "Recycle Bin". Click OK. Done. |
