My girlfriend got me a VHoldR Contour HD for my birthday - AWESOME! www.vholdr.com Now, I don't know where to mount it... My first choice should be on airbox because i would like to see the cluster and what my hands are doing as I'm riding, but the airbox itself is really low so you can hardly see the road in this position. Anyone have another idea to raise it up maybe 4 or 5 inches? I also think it would cool on the clutch cover puck - you can see the headers and the front wheel in the frame, but I'm worried about heat and vibration getting the adhesive undone... The last place is on the front brake resivior - perfect view of the road, but kind of a boring view as well... Decision, decisions... |

I'll have to post the name later when I get home but this months Cycle World had a pretty cool camera mount that you could put anywhere that used a temp mounting system... |

I'd like to keep it off the helmet because a) it looks really stupid there, and b) I want something on the bike itself that stays stationary in relation to the machine. |

Last year at buelltoberfest there was a rider following Fatty and he had it mounted on the forks low right side. The view was cool and video very steady. Fatty mounted his on the rear sets where the passenger puts their feet and it produced some cool rider/road view. and I think he mounted it backwards to get the guys behind him dropping into the corners. All of the video I saw was pretty steady and looked good. |

Did this a few years ago... http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/327 77/271711.html?1176589305 Different camera but the idea is the same. The helmet mounting option resulted in some nauseating video, although that camera may have a different focal length (so it may turn out better). here is what it looked like from the helmet: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KlmeTTedKL0 Mounting the camera on the front axle yielded the best results: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vVp_0Krw4ss |

I actually just tried it sitting on top of the left pod and I think it's the best option so far... Interex - that bulletcam is a pretty sweet setup. I liked the under the fairing mounting, and it captured the nighttime stuff great! I'll post some vids as soon as I have them. |

I carry two remote cams at times. I have one mounted just above the left front turn signal stalk. The other is mounted facing the rear above the rear right turn signal. The video is far from boring. The response of the younger viewers is to start leaning with the video. |
