As long as they write the bill fast enough and don't read it before they vote on it things will be just fine. What's important is that we have CHANGE. As I understand it part of this will require that insurance companies will not be allowed to... 1) Refuse to insure someone for a pre-existing condition. 2) Charge more to someone because of a pre-existing condition. That's great news isn't it. Now healthy people don't have to have health insurance! I'll just get the insurance if I get sick or injured. When I'm well again I can dump the insurance again. Think of the money that I can save! |

Why does the source (bottom left of graphic) say "Republican Staff Congressman"? |

There have been 2 Federal programs that accomplished their goal with only a few deaths & at enormous cost. The Manhattan project. ( nuclear bombs to kill Hitler ) The Apollo program. ( land a man on the moon. actually cheaper ) I can't think of any others, right now. Both are used as examples on how to solve pretty much anything. Poverty, Cancer, zits, home heating........... How many time have you heard on the news, "We need a Manhattan project to fix XXX" ? Ever think that simply offering a moderate, tax free reward/prize would work better? Look at human powered flight, civilian space craft, America's Most Wanted, etc. |
