Terri and I are about to head out. The weather is flawless, and the ride should be a good one. We hope somebody shows up besides us, but if not, we'll still get to enjoy a wonderful burger. If you can't make it, keep the restaurant in mind. It's worth a ride if you like good food. |

Well, we got there at five past twelve, and Dan (Ulynut) was sitting there waiting for us. We all parked off to the side
and we went in; however, I forgot the camera out on the bike. So I went back out to get it just in time to see Bob (?) pulling in.
If I got your name wrong, I apologize. I've got a real bad memory for names. Anyway, he brought his co-pilot with him.
Bob wasn't eating with us, he just wanted to see a few Buells together outside of a dealership. I went back in and we ordered our burgers
Terri ordered hers with Swiss cheese, grilled onions and mushrooms and Sweet Potato Fries; I wanted Cheddar Cheese with grilled onions and mushrooms and Fries. Dan liked the sound of that and ordered the same.
We ate, then went outside to Kick tires with Bob
After talking a while, we walked back to the bikes
then rode off in all different directions. It was a gorgeous day; the weather was perfect, and the roads we rode were magnificent. Terri and I had a great time; it was really nice to see Dan again and a real pleasure to meet Bob. Terri really loved Toots (the dog) |

Crusty: Bott's the name. My name is Pauly, but my nieces decided to call me Bott...NO idea where it came from, but it stuck. Was really cool meeting up with you all. Toots is still sleeping after the ride. She gets so damn worked up around bikes. Note to your wife- Postponed the mowing, due to the wind , and now it's pouring cats and dogs. Hope Ulynut made his trip to Danbury before the rain...later, Bott & Toots |

I made it to Danbury, hung out for a while, had dinner, dessert, and made it all the way home to Stratford without a drop of rain. Rt. 22 was a good fast ride. Thanks for the tip. It was good seeing all of you. Next time we should try some Bar-B-Q. Anyone know any little known, out of the way places? |

Did Clem's make their move yet? Currently they are open all week at the original Port Matilda location and just Fri/Sat/Sun at their new location in Grazierville. Not sure when they will be closing the Port Matilda location. |

Would you guys be "game" for a ride sometime in late September or early October? I'm think a fall foliage ride would be pretty cool. |

Hmm, my last show of the year is the w/e of Sept 12/13 in Michigan. Just happens to be where I bought my Lightning back in '05. Anyway, let me scope out some routes. I'm thinking maybe 75-100 mile loops? Unless you think you would be game for longer day rides. If we go south from here, One stop could be the Flight 93 Memorial. If you have any other suggestions, let me know. Depending on how dry the rest of the summer is, the dryer the earlier the leaves change. Anyone have any dates that work/don't work for them? |
