They are two completely opposite people who should never be paired together unfortunately linked by the date of their passing. I will miss Farrah and feel sorrow for her loss. I grew up with her in the seventies and was impressed with her quality of work. As for the other I have not paid any interest in him in 20 years
According to Farrah, from her documentary.. she had rectal cancer. I would take her word over any of the media outlets. After initial treatments, and then a short time of regression.. he cancer came back... with a vengence. And spread through her body.
To me Farrah’s death was much more significant then Jackson’s. After all a whole generation of juvenile males wanked one out for Farrah, where as with Jackson it was only the ones he could get a hold of
I understand that MJ's morality was questionable to say the least, but he is dead now. Would it kill you all to show a little respect?
Not to mention the fact that he was found innocent. Yes, I know that the legal system isn't perfect and could very possibly have set a guilty man free, but that's the judicial system here.
He's being judged elsewhere now, so let's show some respect for an American pop icon who no doubt endured a very difficult childhood (or lack thereof)
I'm not saying that he's guilty or innocent of what he was accused; only saying that it doesn't matter now.
you really can't say farrah was disgrace because i have a lot of guys in my shop that are in their 20's and they didn't know who farrah was. however, you mention MJ anywhere in world, anywhere and they know who your talking about. it wasn't like the world didn't care that she died. it was just that she died the same say that an icon died.
just like in the 70's when elvis died the same week as groucho marx. many a old person felt the same way that groucho didn't get enough press. but elvis was the icon.
Sorry, but I can’t respect a pedophile, even in death. His fame has no bearing on me. OJ was found innocent too. I refrained from posting in threads for about him. This ones about Farrah.
Sorry, but I can’t respect a pedophile, even in death.
Did you know that the 1993 case was only made possible because of a statement the kid made while under the influence of a contraversial drug? Did you know that while his father pushed for the lawsuit, his mother was adament that there was no wrong-doing by Jackson?
If you were a parent, concerned for your child's safety, would you seriously be content to settle out of court and not send the "pervert" to jail?
Have you ever watched an in-depth interview of the man? As much of a legend as he was, he was not "normal" in the head - it was clear he had the mental and emotional capacity of a 10 year old. I believe the things he did were inappropriate only because of his age - had he been just another 10-year boy having a slumber party, there would be no raise for alarm.
Do some light reading before you swallow everything the press shoves down your throat.
Sorry again, But I’m entitled to my onion, and I don’t blindly believe anything the media reports. I read quite a lot. Memory fails me but wasn’t there more then one accusation? It’s naive to believe That the mother couldn’t by bought off. And come on guys I was only making a joke in my first post. (pretty good one I thought) Can we lighten up?
My sister told me this one yesterday, its going around the bars in San Francisco where she works, all in good fun, it made me laugh, RIP Michael and Farrah:
Ferrah Fawcett arrives at the Pearly Gates and graciously greats St. Peter...
St. Peter: "Oh Ferrah, you have suffered much, and your talent will be remembered for eternity on Earth. I really enjoyed you in "Charlies Angles" and your smile in that bathing suit photograph truly brought joy and peace to the world. Is there any last request that I can bless you with before you meet your God in Heaven?
Ferrah: I'd just like to save the children of the world.
