Actually on the way home, I was thinking to myself how the higher bars have more room for RAM mounts.... I promised myself I wouldn't molest this one much, maybe some minor mods like installing a fuel injection system and an aerodynamic fairing. |

When are you coming to a track day with me Frogman ??? I have a set of leathers you can borrow. Me and Nic are track daying with NYSBC at NJMP lightning course on 7/23 and racing there on the 24th,25th, and 26th with CCS/ASRA there's nothing wrong with sneaking in a practice day before the races is there ? |

It's a little known fact that a Blast led the pack on the first ever Hudson Valley Headless Horseman Run. Said Blast resides in my basement. Holy crap is that little thumper loud! |

If you have problems with the intake boot..PM "Thumpe" from the Thumper forums..he makes modified "superboots" that are far less likely to fail than the stockers...I have one on my bike. He also sells on E-Bay... |

I might just do that, I am not sure if I have a problem or not. Today when I started it, it idled fine for a few seconds, then slowly was getting lower and lower (sounding too low), the died and was refusing to restart. I got it started again and then took off. It felt funny for a few miles, kinda like a bit of a surge. A few miles later stopped at a red light it just died after sitting for a minute. It was 100% fine on the rest of the ride. I think I am gonna run a little Seafoam in it to help clear it out. |

I had to replace the boot on my gf's blast this weekend. It was hard to crank and spitted and sputtered when we first got it, then it started dying on her when she tried to ride it. I sprayed a little carb cleaner around the boot.... idle picked up... yep, leaking boot. When I pulled it off it was split halfway around. Cheap $10 fix and it runs great now. |
