In Albany this week for work and found this place called Chico's BBQ. It was very good. Out on 20 about 15 min from town. Yummy. Stop in if you are ever going through or need somewhere to ride to all you NYers
where in Albany? are you at. My office is downtown. Never been to chicos (but I don't live to far from it..) If you want a great place to go, check out Wolf Beirgarten on Broadway. Great Bear. Great food...
We may have to check that out tonight if we are still in town. Doing work for Sprint down on Enterprise Dr but we are staying up about 15min from Chicos. Nice town so far. A bit run down in areas but I like how 5min you can be out in the country.
Chicos is on out 20, Just west of Crossgates. If you are going on the bikes, Nice ride would be to continue west on 20, Turn left onto 146 towards altamont, then over towards Berne and up to Thatcher park.
That was supposed to be beer as opposed to bear But bear might by yummy, I dunno.
They had one quite a few local awards for best BBQ. Tasty stuff and the cornbread was awesome. I had the pulled pork samwich Carolina style. My co-worker had St. Louis style ribs and said they were great. Wish I would have had time to hit it up again.
AMA Road Riding District 34 had their annual Awards Banquet at this place earlier this year. Nice ride up through the Bear Mountain region. Motorcycle friendly, decent prices and great food. Check it out sometime!
Bott - let's get something going, here. Aside from Doon, I haven't met any other Albany area Buellers, and I have no better excuse than to do some riding and eat some BBQ.

For Long Island BBQ lovers, this is my favorite place locally and you'd better get there quick before the owner decides: "F*ck this noise, I don't NEED this sh*t!!"
