Somebody got a link to the camping/admission deal at the track?! Planning on coming, also planning to get the prison-shower-treatment from work, so we'll see what and when I can pull off. |

The Motel 6 in Brookfield has rooms for $45/night (Wed/Thurs) and $55/night (Fri/Sat) If you split the room with someone, you could sleep in a bed and have a hot shower for a lot less than it would cost to camp. |

Motel 6 right off the freeway? corner of Barker Rd/Moreland Rd, and Bluemound rd? If that's the one, you're 3 miles from my house Crusty. |

That's the one. I'm going to be splitting a room with OZ. This year, I have to squeeze the nickel 'till the buffalo sh*ts. It's the only way I can make Homecoming. Next year, things will be a little easier financially. |

But *BE CAREFUL* going in and out of there Crusty. That intersection has the distinction of being labeled "the most dangerous in Wisconsin" |

Yes, be very careful around Bluemound Road, there are 3, if I remember right, of the most dangerous intersections on it in WI. |

Come on, Mark; When is the last time you saw an AMA National? Or got to shake Erik's hand? Or hung out in a parking lot with a bunch of lunatic Buellers? I bet you can find someone to take your class for you. You know it will drive you nuts if you don't go. Your mind wont be on teaching, and you'll do a crappy job of readying newbie riders for the dangers of surviving out on the hostile streets. Just accept it and feed your addiction. Besides, we have to find that Mexican restaurant in East Troy that Court's referred to; but won't tell us the name of, or where to find it. |

Not only would it cost me to go... I will lose $$ for not teaching the class.... Time out of the office = lost sales... I have a customer call on Wednesday so I'm down a day there... But I do get paid mileage.. But I do have a free place to stay while I'm there... and they do give out free T-shirts to those who show up... They feed ya.... Gas would be about 70 bucks for the round trip... I did just see Erik and the gang at Daytona.... and I just hung out in the parking lot with a bunch of Buellers at the Res Ride.... We're ready to follow Eslick, Barnes and Bilansky from Hals to the HD museum now... here's my wife's mount on "pinkie" http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2427/3579428233_cdc 9cdef94_b.jpg So some PVC "T", and threaded plug. A 1/4-20 x 2" screw, 4 rubber washers, a nylock nut, and a piece of old garden hose. And a sample video http://www.flickr.com/photos/stevemackay/358022119 2/in/set-72157618937662089/ I think it turned out better than expected. |

I saw that Thursday is supposed to be upper 60's and the same friday with a chance of scattered t-storms. Buut, the one thing you have to understand about weathermen here in Wisconsin...THEY LIE ALOT. |

I believe a broken watch is correct more often than the "weathermen" here. |

Oh, and that scenic backroad route to Road America? Well, that is weather dependent. If it's raining. We're slabbin' it |

Too early for worry about the weather. The weaterh services is saying low in the low 50s and high in the upper 60s with a chance of rain each day. I would bring the rain gear and the temperature is likly right. The forecast will change 5 times in the next few days. There is a cold front that is predicted to move in and then stall south of us. There is a high behind it however so there is a LOT of uncertainty about it all. |

The weather will be fine. RFDW submitted. Shame that only "old-timers" Denise and Chualy are able to testify to my track record with regard to RFDW. My record is excellent!

here it is June 1st and we're still waiting for some warm weather. I was at a bar (Famious Freddies) on Fox Lake on Sunday and all the employees had sweat shirts on. I wore my motorcycle jacket and set in the sun to stay warm. The last weather forecast I saw was calling for cloudy skys on Friday and the high in the high 60's or low 70's. I can live with that. |
