If I ever hear another weather person mention N. GA's "drought" this year, I'm going to send them chalk dust in an envelope with a note that says, "Enjoy the anthrax." I swear we've had rain for nearly 3 straight weeks now! Lake Allatoona (one of the 2 main water sources for this area) is flooding, for cryin' out loud! ~SM |

I'll bet you'll NEVER hear a word on the news announcing "the drought is OVER!!!" no matter how much it rains either. Man, they love to beat a dead horse. |

We need it down here in the Tampa area, but it is getting old. Hell last Saturday I rode everywhere, got soaked everywhere but wore a smile everywhere. It had been three weeks since I was able to ride. The rain wasn't stopping me last weekend. |

Nah, I don't mind the wet, it's the other crazy people that tend to ignore the laws of physics that keeps me out of the saddle. ~SM |

Now, there has been so much rain the crying is about too much fresh water and not enough salinity in the Gulf and its killing the fishing in the Gulf. How dare there be variation in the weather!!!!!!! |
