In from the fog...happy Memorial Day to all. It's late, I worked in my backyard, my boys helped me till eleven am, I sent them to the movies with my little girl, they had a blast and then went out for ice cream. By the time they got back, I had the yard pretty much wrapped up. I barbecued chicken to char-broiled perfection with asparagus (yes you can barbecue asparagaus) potatoes, bread, and a frosty one. Smoked my pipe and now I am hanging out with my tribe. This simple event and the tranquility that surrounds it is made possible by my countrymen in the military. This I know and am thankful. | ||

Nice summary of a very good day and what it was meant for. I changed the oil in Michele's Saab for the first time. Enjoyed some sirloin and bratwurst, and avoided mowing the lawn.  | ||
