Whats up guys? Any of you at this event this week> I only saw 2 buells on Friday and Saturday a 9r and a red Uly, Plus, well a, something that use to be a buell. | ||

I was there all day Saturday and only saw 1 Buell.....a black M2. It was over by the Yamaha demo rides in Pier Park. I did demo the new V-Max....holy crap that thing is fast (probably the fastest bike I have ever or will ever be on). I dropped it to 3rd and nailed it at ~70 or so and thought the clutch was slipping. The trailing "guide" said that I had broke the back end loose when I hit it. It didn't start walking out on me but stayed dead straight (I guess thats why I thought the clutch was slipping). I know I better never buy one, I'll kill myself. | ||

I spent the entire day there Sat too but I didn't know where the demo's were I would have gone for sure. | ||

I have a took a pic of the M2 that I'll try to post here tonight to see if anyone claims it. I was really surprised at the crowds (and the # of cagers driving through the middle of everything)....seemed to be a better turn out than the last weekend of Daytona. But then Daytona is a little more spread out so its hard to judge. Edit: Yamaha and BigDog were the only demos I saw....and BigDog was charging 10 bucks to demo. I did Thunder Beach when my Uly was new. '06 or so. Had a nasty blast of LoveBugs then. Everybody had wash buckets, rags, and waterhoses setup at all of the motels. Although I enjoyed being there, I'm not really into the 'chrome fest','parade idle ride' at these kind of events anymore. I enjoyed the ride to and from much better. I think I saw four Buells in town when I was there. |
