Thinking about heading into NY on Sunday and finding a place to stay on Sunday Night and ride back to Long Island on Monday. Mike 06 XB12X Red/Black Long Island, NY |

Anyone is welcome to crash um... I mean temporarily lodge at my place coming or going. I'm 4.5 hours from NYC and about 3-4 hours i'd guess from the burger place. |

I'm in! I'll be pulling in about noon time with a guy on a BMW. Can't convince him to come over to the dark side. But he I think he's a Uly type of guy. |

Oh yeah word of advice, DON'T TRY THE 2LBS BURGER!! I did and failed. Was on the bike that day. If I was in a car I would have done it, but way to gross tasting and a 4 hour bike ride with that rock in my gut didn't sound good. |

I'm thinkin' with the temp in the 70's on Saturday that I just might have to do a "pre-ride" just to make sure everything is in order. (including stopping at Clem's BBQ!) Yeah, I know. Somebody has to do it. |

Plans are to run Rt550 from Tyrone to Port Matlida, eat at Clem's, go north on Rt220 to Rt144, head back towards Philipsburg, then over towards Clearfield. I've not been on Rt144 yet, but heard it's a great ride. Full report to follow, heck, I might even take pictures |

Today I change the fluids on the Uly, and try to get the auxiliary lights installed, before we shove off on Saturday in the AM. |

PA 125 is around 2-2 1/2 hours east of me. I haven't had the pleasure of running that route. I'm off to go to Clem's and run Rt 144! Had to charge the battery this morning and clean the bike whilst it charged. Yes, I have a Battery Tender, and yes, I forgot to plug it in last year............. |

JLB, the map you posted doesn't have any of my favorite rides listed, except for Tipton Mountain. They listed it as scenic-I guess if you go slow enough it's scenic, but there are some nice curves to hit on that route. Nice webpage, might have to do some road trips! |
