Went for a ride yesterday on the DRZ (cuz Buell killed the Rooster) whilest wearing the Buell Jacket from Vanson (the Grey older Adventure Jacket) And its POURING rain, cuz its Western Washington and its spring. After spending an hour in the mud, I am Soaked. So the question is... is this thing supposed to be Waterproof? I like the armor, I like the vents, I like the flexibility, but that sponge like wetness has got to go. PS the Harley Gear is waterproof, but offers no crash protection... seems to be they dont think you need both. oh yeah, its this jacket

I didn't think Vanson made anything waterproof? I could be wrong.. With the riding you do, it is time to invest in something from Aerostich. Either a roadcrafter suit, or if you want leather look at the Transit suit. Both are water resistant goretex. If I wasn't poor right now I would have a transit Jacket to compliment my 'stich suit. |
