My Scotch-Irish Mom taught me that one Happy St. Pats!
That photo shot was from my last 'pig out' a new place in town sells several varieties of french fries by the pound... I got there right as they closed. That is pure anger looking for a direction to go. Now my diet wont let me go in the place.
I was raised a Catholic, and well educated in Catholic schools. No one has the right to try to force me to their faith. No right to force Catholics to become Protestant. No right for the English or the Scots to force the Catholics of Ireland to give up their faith.
I was married in a Methodist Church. No one forced me.
So is this all about St Patricks day? - that day when people who have absolutely no Irish heritage dress up like idiots and get stupid drunk. You have that right. Most not even Irish. In Ireland it's nothing like what we do here. I take no part in that waste. I took part in the parade for four decades and afterwards have never gotten drunk, nor any of my family.
