Hearing that 6 Buells are going to be in the race got me fired up!!!! I ran to my wife like a kid wanting a puppy.... CAN I GO TO DAYTONA???? CAN I??? CAN I??? CAN I??? CAN I??? SOOOOO ITS ON!!! Anybody from Columbus area or anyone else want to hook up on my way south??? My plan is to leave C-bus Thursday morning and make Southern Georgia or Northern Florida by Thursday night. Friday get up and head to the track. Camp at the track Friday night and head home Saturday. Crazy??.. maybe... Fun??.... Hell yeah!! | ||

Hey there big boy! Would that be the 5-6-7 of March? I just mentioned to a friend that I had been thinking of doing something stupid and spontaneous. That was even what I was talking about. My son and an old friend of mine asked me about going as they are supposed to have a room in Daytona Friday and Saturday nights. | ||

My 11 yr old and I are leaving Missouri on Tuesday. Plan on being in Daytona on Thursday sometime. Riding the XT all the way down. We are soo pumped it's been 16yrs since I have seen the 200 live. 1994 the 1st year for the VR1000. | ||

Ohhhh you post that now! The later leave time had everything fixed for me. I have even confirmed my appointment for Thursday at 3:30. I will be back to my place about 4:15. I will have everything packed and ready. All that I will need to do is gear up. So that will be about 4:30. I'm still waiting to hear back from my son on the room program. I will let you know as soon as I hear what is up with that. If you want to get here earlier and chill out we can set you up!  | ||

I'm planning to leave Murfreesboro Tennessee Thursday about noon. Staying with friends in S.Georgia Thursday night, I'll be at the track by 2 PM for the Moto-GT race. Have safe travels everyone, see you there unless our paths cross along the way (we will both be on I-75 south from chattanooga). | ||

The B.A.W. stays in place if there are gonna be Love-Bugs in South Ga. and Florida!  Anybody in that vicinity that can up date us on the Love-Bug situation? I went to Panama Beach a couple years ago for the Thunder Beach Rally. The Love-Bugs were absolutely disgusting!  Mark, are you running your reserve gas tank? | ||

I'm still debating the return trip in my head.... The route sounds good but I may want to drop the hammer home. That would give me Sunday to recover.... Lets see how things go in Fla and what the weather channel has to say..... I may want to save the $$$ that comes with our other plan. | ||

You will not have a love bug problem... It's too cold for em... They probably won't be out until the end of March. Yo guys do know that the Jennings track is 5 miles from I-75? If you need a place to watch more racing and camp out, stop in!! Look for the the white Ford Van and the red Buell Firebolt!! I'll probably be the only Buell racing... | ||

Most excellent Paint! We will have to look into the ole' time meter and see what is left! I lived in the Tampa area for about 17 years. I always hated the taste of those damn Love-Bugs. | ||

I just got a call from one of my customers in Altamonte Springs.... I may be able to squeeze in a customer call! He wants a Buell. I said he could ride mine. He has a Yamaha FX6.. I've never rode one, but I'll give it a go! | ||
