ummm, i could understand why a tuber gets parted on ebay or maybe even an xb due to some redneck chopper builds on the xb platform.......but why 1125r's parted? (Message edited by limitedx1 on February 23, 2009) |

Without seeing the bike, I would assume it was crashed. |

just type in buell in the search bar on the ebay home page, then sort by newly listed, looks like an 1125r parted out to me |

That search returns 1,959 hits. Ranking them by closing time still doesn't show an 1125 in any way. Has it already ended? Limiting search to EBAY Motors and 1125 doesn't show anything. Link? |

That's 6 days and 20+ days out... I thought he was looking at something closing pretty soon... and those parts are obviously off of a salvage/wrecked bike. |

I get like 5,600 items when I search the word Buell... But then again, I see pretty much every item related to Buell when it gets posted. I'm that ridiculous. |

Looks like maybe a crashed unit - there's only 1 radiator side available that I saw. |

Limited your kidding right? how do you understand a bike getting destroyed that will never be produced again over a bike Eric cant churn out fast enough as we speak? WTF? If you want sympathy take it to the 1125r board. |

for one, i ride an x1, not even an xb, i am one of the buell riders who wouldnt buy an 1125 because of the non harley motor-simply my opinion. i just though it was odd to see brand new bikes being parted out. it was just a question......did somebody pee in your corn flakes this morning....gosh it was a legitimate question. i could care less if the 1125 dissappeared off the face of the earth. |

I actually saw that today while cruising through Ebay. Keep digging Leftcoast...I believe I saw both sides. Brackets for sure. |

That clutch cover is pretty friggin' smashed. I'd a say wrecked unit for sure. These guys don't know the mileage, which means they're a salvage company that got a totaled bike from an insurance company. |

"Keep digging Leftcoast...I believe I saw both sides. Brackets for sure." No diggin' for me - this stuff is WAAY too recent for anything I'd need. Just checking for Lx1. I sold my last vintage bike ('48 Chief) and ended up with the RS as my back-up bike. Now IT is a vintage bike, apparently. I keep stuff longer than most folks. My strategy is that if you wait long enough, it'll be the only one left and thusly - valuable!. Still waiting. AL |

Would be cool, don't know how feasible, but imagine a tuber with that power...could the frame handle it. |

I'm looking for the whole front setup. Fairing, lights, windscreen, etc. I'd like to put the 1125r head on the Bolt to see what it looks like. |

a bike Eric cant churn out fast enough as we speak I'm surprised no one has corrected you on the spelling of Erik Buell's name. That mistake usually brings out the spelling police. |

I apologize to you Limited for bringing my bad day to badweb. I am sorry I spelled Erik wrong. I just hate to think of a tuber getting hacked to pieces. Still i had no right. |

Don't you have enough on your plate Brinn? What's the ETA on the M2? I'm shooting for two more months for mine. I'd like to get a few miles under her before I take a few day trip in May. |

Well, I gotta get it up to a buddy's that lives about 3 hrs away because I need some experience...I don't feel comfortable doing it myself unsupervised. So, everything "could" be done in a weekend if I had all the parts, beer, and a few good hands.. |
