Is anyone headed to Laconia for Bike Week in June? I'm heading down with 2 others and staying in Franklin, NH for 4 days. We'll be riding to Mt. Washington, doing the Kagamagus Highway, and going to the hill climbs among other things. It would great to meet, greet and ride with some fellow Badwebbers. |

Hey Buellinator, I live about 45 minutes west of Franklin. I stay clear of Laconia during bike week, but if you're thinking of heading west to hit some of the roads in VT, let me know. Also, besides the Kanc and Mt. Washington, you should hit Hurricane Mountain Rd. in North Conway and ME 113 up to Gilead, ME. Hurricane Mountain Rd. will leave a permanent on your face. -71.015625&sspn=1.076878,2.268677&dirflg=h&ie=UTF8 &ll=44.073527,-71.087551&spn=0.067585,0.141792&z=1 3,Hurricane Mountain Road |

Since I live on Long Island, I tend to prefer to stay AWAY from giant traffic jams. I have enough of those at home. It's best to visit Laconia after all the damned poseurs have gone home. |

Buellinator; while you're in Conway, stop in at White Horse Gear and pick up a copy of 25 Years of Buell. |

I've been to Laconia several years in a row. Great fun. Iv'e hit all the bad and good roads(1,319 miles for the week in 06). Mt Washington is a must on a clear day(it's COLD up there). Getting up early is the key for getting thru the high traffic areas. After 10:00 A.M. things get crowded. |

Buellinator, Keep us posted on what days your going to be there. I usually head out for a day trip to check out the bikes. The traffic is a little much, but it's good to say you made it. |
