Ok, I was born and raised in maine. I usually enjoy winter for the most part, snowboard a lot, ice skate, anything to get thru... but this winter is driving me CRAZY! I work outside most of the time, it's been really cold, it's snowing AGAIN as I speak and I want to ride my MOTORCYCLE!!! WILL IT EVER END?!?!?!

I want bikes, boobs and beer....now.

I've lived in cold places and the tropics.

found life is much better in a temperate climate with year round riding.

Didn't find it hard to do either. Just pack up and go.

Winter sucks when it comes to riding. Usually I get out a lot more than I have this year. The roads always seem to be a mess of ice and packed snow. I got out for an hour this weekend though. It was 35 degrees and completely comfortable. I was out a few weeks ago and it was 12 degrees. That wasn't nearly as nice.

I try to stay active in the winter, but riding is the only sport that ever really "took." I'm thinking a snowmobile may cure that next year.

just thought id stir the pot a little.

and a snowmachine will cure all winter blues.
i was in Alaska for 5 years. the best thing about snow.
