Wish I could have gotten a xb12xt "black" That thing is sweet looking. Saw it in another thread and now I know what I am working towards. |

If its supposed to be a lower cost model, i can easily see them putting on the 6 pot caliper. Think something like a ducati monster dark |

I think the CityX only comes with the 6-pot one (the last model that does IIRC), regardless of color. BTW... that thing looks GREAT! I like all black lightnings (Message edited by TexasTechX1 on January 31, 2009) |

do you really want an 8 piston caliper on an over grown dirt bike ? Looks good, too bad all that black would be covered in MUD> |

You *can* overheat the 6 pot on a 9sx if you are... well... trying to overheat the 6 pot on a 9sx. That was the only time my fat behind ever managed to get them acting fussy. Come to think of it, somebody owes me a pizza for that experiment. Yumm. Pizza. But I digress Anyway, the way a 9sx begs to be ridden is like a sporting middleweight twin, flowing through linked turns, not a lot of shifting, picking nice lines and engine braking, barely ever touching the actual brakes. The 6 pot caliper can easily loop the bike warm, and holds up fine even on non competitive track use. Its a good mix for the bike. Is that new model the "long" frame? Or just a REALLY little rider? |

what is the difference other than the color? I went on the buell uk web site and the only difference it showed on there was price and the plastics. All the specs was the same. Why is there such a big price change for the black and the clrear colors? even the other buells are like that. |

a 12R yes, a 9SX yes, a 12S - pass - for the R. Its how I roll - lol- for a daily rider type bike the 9 would serve better (maybe with the CR clubmans) - IMOHO - lol EZ (Message edited by ezblast on January 31, 2009) |

I got a red XT cuz black wasn't available. It will be Vivid Black (as in I used to ride black HD's)by spring. Also liking the carbon fiber look, but I think a paint job will be a whole lot cheaper. |

oh i'm by no means trying to hook up with her. just wanted to see her without a helmet. i read a recent article that said something along the lines of "why do women have to be eye candy next to the bike. why can't we have jessica alba with freshly scuffed up pucks in the winners circle since the current racers are so tiny anyway." you get the point. i just like seeing good looking women on bikes. (especially my ex on her gixxer 750 or better yet on my Buell) (Message edited by buellblastrider on February 02, 2009) |
