Here is a video on how to balance a wheel. I can't do it that quickly I have a Marc Parnes and have even balanced lawn mower blades with it.............
Just put on a new set of tires myself, but I balanced mine the fast EASY way. How you ask? Dyna Beads, just pour them in through the valve stems and tires are perfectly balanced through their life span. No costly stands/tools and no chance for errors. Did I mention NO unsightly wheel weights?
"I can't wait to hear the comments start flying about those dyna beads" .......Sure makes me wonder "HOW" those beads can find the light spot to settle into and all the planets align at the same time. Would a couple of ounces of lead shot do the same thing?
The wheel with pulley attached fit just fine. It leaves about an inch to spare on each side. That is from the cone to the roller. I used one of my PM rears for the fit test.
